¿Qué son los adjetivos comparativos?

Los comparative adjectives se utilizan para comparar dos elementos.

Estructura básica

Subject + verb + comparative adjective + than + object

• My house is bigger than yours.

• She is taller than her sister.

👉 La palabra than significa “que” y casi siempre aparece en las comparaciones.

Reglas para formar los adjetivos comparativos

Adjetivos cortos (1 sílaba)

👉 Se añade -er al final.

🔹 Adjetivos que terminan en -e

👉 Solo se añade -r.

• nice → nicer

• large → larger

🔹 Vocal + consonante (una sílaba)
