Speaking C1 Parte 2 Cambridge: ejemplos, expresiones útiles y ejercicios prácticos
La Parte 2 del Speaking C1 de Cambridge (C1 Advanced o CAE) evalúa tu capacidad para describir, comparar, especular y dar tu opinión sobre dos fotografías. Esta sección mide tu fluidez, precisión y capacidad para organizar ideas de forma natural durante aproximadamente 1 minuto.
Speaking C1 Cambridge Parte 2
En esta parte, el examinador te muestra dos fotos relacionadas con un mismo tema. Debes compararlas, describirlas brevemente y responder a una pregunta concreta que aparece en la tarjeta. Por ejemplo: “Compare the pictures and say how the people might be feeling.” (Compara las fotos y di cómo podrían sentirse las personas). Durante el minuto que hablas, tu compañero escucha sin interrumpir. Luego, responderás brevemente a una pregunta sobre las fotos de tu compañero.

Ejemplo Speaking C1 Parte 2
Task: Compare the photos and say why people might choose to spend time outdoors.
Example answer: In the first picture, we can see a group of friends having a picnic in the park, whereas in the second picture, there’s a man walking alone in the mountains. What they have in common is that both are spending time outside, probably to relax or disconnect. The main difference is that one situation is social and the other is solitary. They might enjoy nature in different ways, but both seem happy. Personally, I’d prefer the first one because I love being with friends outdoors.
Traducción: En la primera foto vemos a un grupo de amigos haciendo un picnic en el parque, mientras que en la segunda hay un hombre caminando solo por la montaña. Lo que tienen en común es que ambos pasan tiempo al aire libre, probablemente para relajarse o desconectar. La diferencia principal es que una situación es social y la otra más solitaria. Puede que disfruten de la naturaleza de distintas maneras, pero ambos parecen felices. Personalmente, preferiría la primera porque me encanta estar con amigos al aire libre.
Trucos Speaking C1 Parte 2
Organiza tus ideas siguiendo un orden claro: descripción → comparación → especulación → opinión.
No enumeres, conecta tus frases con naturalidad.
Usa vocabulario variado y expresiones de nivel C1.
Practica con un cronómetro para controlar el tiempo.
Si te quedas en blanco, usa frases de relleno como Let me think for a second… (Déjame pensar un segundo…).
Ejercicio Speaking C1 Parte 2
Instrucción: Compare the pictures and say what kind of challenges people might face in these situations.
Ejemplo de respuesta: In the first picture, there’s a woman giving a presentation, whereas in the second picture, a man seems to be working in a noisy environment. Both are focused on their tasks, but the challenges are different. She might feel nervous speaking in front of others, while he could find it hard to concentrate. Personally, I’d find the presentation more stressful because I don’t like public speaking.
Speaking C1 Parte 3
La Parte 3 del Speaking C1 es una tarea colaborativa en la que hablas con tu compañero durante unos 3 minutos (2 minutos de conversación y 1 para decidir). El examinador te mostrará un diagrama con cinco opciones y una pregunta general, por ejemplo: “What are the most important skills to succeed at work?” Debes comparar las opciones, expresar opiniones y llegar juntos a una conclusión.
Expresiones útiles:
Shall we start with…? (¿Empezamos con…?)
What do you think about this option? (¿Qué piensas sobre esta opción?)
That’s true, but on the other hand… (Es cierto, pero por otro lado…)
We both seem to agree that… (Parece que ambos estamos de acuerdo en que…)
All things considered, this would be the best choice. (Teniendo todo en cuenta, esta sería la mejor opción.)
Ejemplo Speaking C1 Parte 3
Tema: Ways to improve health.
Candidato A: Shall we start with doing more exercise? It’s something everyone can do easily.
Candidato B: Yes, that’s true, but eating well is also important. You can’t stay healthy if your diet is bad.
Candidato A: I agree, although I think regular exercise has more benefits in the long term.
Candidato B: So, shall we choose that one then?
Candidato A: Yes, all things considered, I think exercising regularly is the best way to improve health.

Speaking C1 partes
Parte 1: Preguntas personales (2 minutos) sobre temas cotidianos como estudios, aficiones o viajes.

Parte 4: Debate o discusión sobre el mismo tema (4 minutos).
En el Speaking C1 de Cambridge, demuestra que puedes comunicarte de forma natural, estructurada y precisa. En la Parte 2, compara, describe y opina con expresiones variadas. En la Parte 3, colabora con tu compañero y llega a un acuerdo lógico. Practica con ejemplos, usa vocabulario avanzado y mantén una actitud segura y positiva.
